حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْضَى لَكُمْ ثَلاَثًا، وَيَسْخَطُ لَكُمْ ثَلاَثًا، يَرْضَى لَكُمْ: أَنْ تَعْبُدُوهُ وَلاَ تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَأَنْ تَعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللهِ جَمِيعًا، وَأَنْ تَنَاصَحُوا مَنْ وَلاَّهُ اللَّهُ أَمْرَكُمْ، وَيَكْرَهُ لَكُمْ: قِيلَ وَقَالَ، وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ، وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ.
Abdullah bin Yusuf told us, he said: Malik told us, on the authority of Suhail bin Abi Salih, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace He said: Indeed, God is pleased with three things for you, and He is displeased with you with three things. He is pleased with you: that you worship Him and not associate anything with Him, and that Hold fast to the rope of God, all of you, and advise those to whom God has entrusted you, and He hates for you: gossip, asking too many questions, and wasting time.
