Hadith #47998
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ: إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيَفْتَتِحْ صَلاتَهُ بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ.
Muhammad bin Al-Ala told us, he said: Abu Usama told us, on the authority of Hisham, meaning Ibn Hassan, on the authority of Muhammad bin Sirin, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: When one of you gets up at night, he should begin his prayer with two light rak’ahs.
