Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah — Hadith #48006

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, he said: Sulayman bin Harb told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud said: I prayed one night with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he remained standing until I thought about something bad. It was said to him: What did you think about? With it? He said: I was about to sit and pray to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Sufyan bin Waki’ told us, he said: Jarir told us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, something similar.
