Hadith #47831
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَكَانَ فِي يَدِهِ ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَيَدِ عُمَرَ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُثْمَانَ، حَتَّى وَقَعَ فِي بِئْرِ أَرِيسٍ، نَقْشُهُ: مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ.
Narrated by Ishaq bin Mansur, who said: Narrated by Abdullah bin Numayr, who said: Narrated by Ubaydullah bin Umar, on the authority of Nafi, on the authority of Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had a ring made of silver. It was on his hand, then it was on the hand of Abu Bakr, and on the hand of Umar, then it was on the hand of Uthman, until it fell into the well of Aris. Its inscription was: Muhammad, the Messenger of God.
