حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُصَلِّي جَالِسًا، فَيَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، فَإِذَا بَقِيَ مِنْ قِرَاءَتِهِ قَدْرُ مَا يَكُونُ ثَلاثِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ آيَةً، قَامَ فَقَرَأَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ، ثُمَّ صَنَعَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
Ishaq bin Musa Al-Ansari narrated to us, he said: Ma’an narrated to us, he said: Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Nadr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Aisha: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to pray sitting, so he would recite while sitting, so if he had enough of his recitation remaining, it would be thirty or so. Forty verses, he stood up and recited while standing, then he bowed and prostrated, then he did the same in the second rak’ah.
