Hadith #48017
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الزِّيَادِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ الزِّيَادِيُّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، كَانَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ.
Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Hakim bin Muawiyah Al-Ziyadi narrated to me, saying: Ziyad bin Ubaidullah bin Al-Rabi’ Al-Ziyadi narrated to us, on the authority of Humaid al-Taweel, on the authority of Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray the noon prayer with six rak’ahs.
