حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ: مَا أَخْبَرَنِي أَحَدٌ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى إِلا أُمُّ هَانِئٍ، فَإِنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، دَخَلَ بَيْتَهَا يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَاغْتَسَلَ فَسَبَّحَ ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صلى الله عليه وسلم، صَلَّى صَلاةً قَطُّ أَخَفَّ مِنْهَا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ.
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, he said: Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Amr ibn Murrah, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Abu Laila said: No one told me that he saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, praying the forenoon prayer except Umm Hani, for she narrated that The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, entered her house on the day of the conquest of Mecca, took a bath, and prayed eight rak’ahs of rosary. I never saw him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He never prayed a lighter prayer than this. He used to bow and prostrate completely.
