حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ سَهْمِ بْنِ مِنْجَابٍ، عَنْ قَرْثَعٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، أَوْ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ قَرْثَعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، كَانَ يُدْمِنُ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ تُدْمِنُ هَذِهِ الأَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ تُفْتَحُ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ فَلا تُرْتَجُ حَتَّى تُصَلَّى الظُّهْرُ، فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يَصْعَدَ لِي فِي تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ خَيْرٌ، قُلْتُ: أَفِي كُلِّهِنَّ قِرَاءَةٌ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ قُلْتُ: هَلْ فِيهِنَّ تَسْلِيمٌ فَاصِلٌ؟ قَالَ: لا.
حدثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ سَهْمِ بْنِ مِنْجَابٍ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ قَرْثَعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، نَحْوَهُ.
Ahmad bin Mani` told us, on the authority of Hushaym, he said: Ubaidah told us, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Sahm bin Manjab, on the authority of Qarth al-Dhabi, or on the authority of Qaza’a, on the authority of Qartha’, on the authority of Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to perform four rak’ahs at noon, I said: O Messenger of God, you are addicted to performing these four rak’ahs at noon. He said: The gates of heaven open at noon, so do not She pauses until she performs the noon prayer, and I would like something good to come up for me at that hour. I said: Is there a recitation in all of them? He said: Yes. I said: Do they include a final greeting? He said: No. Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, he said: Abu Muawiyah told us, he said: Ubaidah told us, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Sahm bin Munjab, on the authority of Qaza’ah, on the authority of Qartha’, on the authority of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the like.
