Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47678

He said: I said: O Messenger of God. He said: Five. I said: O Messenger of God. He said: Seven. I said: O Messenger of God. He said: Nine. I said: O Messenger of God. He said: Eleven. I said: O Messenger of God. He said: There is no fasting beyond David fasted for half a day, fasting one day and breaking his fast the next day.
