حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: أَلا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ؟ قَالُوا: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: الإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ، وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ قَالَ: وَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَكَانَ مُتَّكِئًا، قَالَ: وَشَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ، أَوْ قَوْلُ الزُّورِ، قَالَ: فَمَا زَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَقُولُهَا حَتَّى قُلْنَا: لَيْتَهُ سَكَتَ.
Humaid ibn Mas'adah narrated to us, saying: Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, saying: Al-Jurayri narrated to us, on the authority of 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah, on the authority of his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the greatest of sins?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Associating partners with Allah and disobeying one's parents." He said: And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down Peace and blessings be upon him, and he was reclining. He said: “And false testimony, or false speech.” He said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, kept saying it until we said: We wish he would stop.
