Hadith #52351
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { لَمَّا جَاءَ نَعْيُ جَعْفَرٍ -حِينَ قُتِلَ- قَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -
"اصْنَعُوا لِآلِ جَعْفَرٍ طَعَامًا, فَقَدْ أَتَاهُمْ مَا يَشْغَلُهُمْ" } أَخْرَجَهُ الْخَمْسَةُ, إِلَّا النَّسَائِيّ َ 1 .1 - حسن. رواه أحمد ( 1 / 205 )، وأبو داود ( 3132 )، والترمذي ( 998 )، وابن ماجه ( 1610 )، وقال الترمذي: "هذا حديث حسن صحيح".
On the authority of Abdullah ibn Ja`far, may God be pleased with them both, who said: {When the news of Ja`far's death arrived, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
"Prepare food for the family of Ja`far, for they are preoccupied with their grief."} Narrated by the five compilers of Hadith, except for An-Nasa`i. 1.1 - Hasan (Good). Narrated by Ahmad (1/205), Abu Dawud (3132), At-Tirmidhi (998), and Ibn Majah (1610). At-Tirmidhi said: "This is a Hasan Sahih (Good and Authentic) Hadith."
