Hadith #52476
وَعَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ: { "مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ, يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ, هُوَ فِيهَا فَاجِرٌ, لَقِيَ اَللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري ( 5 / 33 / فتح )‏، ومسلم ( 138 )‏.‏
On the authority of Al-Ash’ath ibn Qays (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever swears an oath by which he unjustly takes the property of a Muslim, and is thus a transgressor, will meet Allah while He is angry with him.” Agreed upon. 1.1 - Sahih. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (5/33/Fath) and Muslim (138).
