Hadith #53407
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْحَسَدَ, فَإِنَّ اَلْحَسَدَ يَأْكُلُ اَلْحَسَنَاتِ, كَمَا تَأْكُلُ اَلنَّارُ اَلْحَطَبَ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- ضعيف رواه أبو داود (4903)‏، وفي سنده راو مجهول.‏
“Avoid envy, for envy devours good deeds just as fire devours firewood.” Related by Abu Dawud.
