حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ، عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَحْدَثُ الْقَوْمِ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فَلَمْ أَلْبَثْ حَتَّى تَزَوَّجْتُ .
Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Ashjaj narrated to me, Waki’ narrated to us, Al-A’mash narrated to us, on the authority of Amara bin, Umair, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: We entered upon him and I was speaking to the people, similar to what they had spoken, but he did not mention it. I did not stay until I got married.
