حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ، حُجْرٍ - قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهْوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا إِلاَّ كَلْبَ ضَارِيَةٍ أَوْ مَاشِيَةٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ " .
Yahya bin Yahya, Yahya bin Ayyub, Qutaibah, and Ibn Hujr told us - Yahya bin Yahya told us, and the others said, Ismail - who is Ibn Ja’far - told us on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Dinar that he heard Ibn Umar say that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever acquires A dog Except for a ferocious dog or livestock whose work is reduced by two qirats every day.”
