Sunan Abi Dawud — Hadith #1705
Hadith #1705
Ibn al-Sarh narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Malik informed me, with his chain of transmission, and its meaning added: “Its watering it draws back water and eats the tree.” He did not say, “Take it.” Regarding the lost item, he said in the snapshot, “Know it for a year, then let its owner come. Otherwise, your business with it.” . He did not mention “spend.” Abu Dawud said: It was narrated by Al-Thawri, Suleiman bin Bilal, and Hammad bin Salamah on the authority of Rabi’ah. It was not similar to him. They say, “Take it.”
