حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ رَقِيتُ عَلَى بَيْتِ أُخْتِي حَفْصَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَاعِدًا لِحَاجَتِهِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الشَّامِ مُسْتَدْبِرَ الْقِبْلَةِ .
Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Muhammad bin Bishr al-Abdi narrated to us, Ubayd Allah bin Umar narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Yahya bin Hibban, on the authority of his uncle, Wasi’ ibn Hibban, on the authority of Ibn Umar, who said: I went to my sister Hafsa’s house and saw the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sitting For his need, he is facing the Levant, facing the Qiblah.
