أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيِّ، - وَاسْمُهُ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ - قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي عَمِّي وَغُلاَمًا لَهُ إِلَى سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْمُزَارَعَةِ فَقَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لاَ يَرَى بِهَا بَأْسًا حَتَّى بَلَغَهُ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ حَدِيثٌ فَلَقِيَهُ فَقَالَ رَافِعٌ أَتَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَنِي حَارِثَةَ فَرَأَى زَرْعًا فَقَالَ " مَا أَحْسَنَ زَرْعَ ظُهَيْرٍ ". فَقَالُوا لَيْسَ لِظُهَيْرٍ. فَقَالَ " أَلَيْسَ أَرْضُ ظُهَيْرٍ ". قَالُوا بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُ أَزْرَعَهَا. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خُذُوا زَرْعَكُمْ وَرُدُّوا إِلَيْهِ نَفَقَتَهُ ". قَالَ فَأَخَذْنَا زَرْعَنَا وَرَدَدْنَا إِلَيْهِ نَفَقَتَهُ. وَرَوَاهُ طَارِقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ وَاخْتُلِفَ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ.
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna informed us, he said, Yahya told us, on the authority of Abu Ja`far al-Khutami - whose name is Umair ibn Yazid - he said: My uncle sent me and a boy He went to Sa`id ibn al-Musayyab and asked him about farming. He said: Ibn Umar did not see anything wrong with it until he reported it on the authority of Rafi` ibn Khadij. Hadith, so he met him, and Rafi’ said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came to Banu Haritha and saw crops, and he said, “How good is the planting of Dhahir.” They said, “No.” For Dhahir. He said, “Isn’t it the land of Dhahir?” They said, “Yes, but he cultivated it.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “Take your crops and return to him his maintenance.” He said, “So we took our crops and returned to him his expenses.” It was narrated by Tariq bin Abd. The Most Gracious, on the authority of Sa`id, and there was a disagreement over him regarding it.
