Sunan an-Nasa'i — Hadith #24297

Ismail bin Masoud told us, he said, Khaled bin Al-Harith told us, on the authority of Saeed, on the authority of Ya’la bin Hakim, on the authority of Sulayman bin Yasar, that Rafi’ bin Khadij said: We were quarreling during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he claimed that some of his cousins had come to him, so he said the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade me. May God bless him and grant him peace about a matter that was beneficial to us, and obedience to God and His Messenger is more beneficial to us. We said, “What is that?” He said. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Who If he has land, let him cultivate it or let his brother cultivate it, and he should not rent it out for a third, a quarter, or specified food.” Narrated by Hanzala bin Qais on the authority of Rafi’, so he differed over Rabi’ah regarding his narration.
