Sunan an-Nasa'i — Hadith #24308

Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Bazi’ told us, he said, Fudayl told us, he said, Musa bin Uqba told us, he said, Nafi’ told me, that Rafi’ bin Khadij, told Abdullah bin Omar, that his uncles came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, then they returned and were informed that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, God, upon him be peace, forbade the leasing of farms. Abdullah, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, “We know that every farm owner used to lease it during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He has something on the watering spring from which water gushes out, and a pile of hay, I don’t know how much it is. Narrated by him Ibn Aoun on the authority of Nafi’, and he said on the authority of some of his cousins.
