Hadith #37917
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ: «اتَّقُوا الظُّلْمَ، فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَاتَّقُوا الشُّحَّ، فَإِنَّهُ أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ» أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Beware of oppression, for oppression will appear as a dark darkness on the Day of Judgment. And beware of stinginess, for it destroyed the previous nations.” [1593]
