Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah — Hadith #47987
Hadith #47987
Qutayba bin Saeed told us, he said: Al-Mufaddal bin Fadala told us, on the authority of Aqeel, I see it on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, She said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went to bed every night, he would put his palms together, blow on them, and recite in them: Say, He is God. Uhud and Say I seek refuge in the Lord of creation and Say I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind. Then he wiped with them what he could of his body, beginning with them his head, face and whatever He approached his body, doing this three times.
