Hadith #36580
قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: إذا سلمت عليكم اليهود، فقولوا لأحدهم: سلم عليك. ثم ستقول "Walaika" ردًا على ذلك. (البخاري ج 79 باب 22 حديث رقم 6257 ؛ مسلم 39/4 ، ح 2164)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the Jews greet you, one of them must say: Assamu Alaika. Then you will say 'Walaika' in response. (Bukhari Part 79 Chapter 22 Hadith No. 6257; Muslim 39/4, Hah 2164)
