Hadith #48146
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ قُبُورًا وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا قَبْرِي عِيدًا وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّ صَلَاتكُمْ تبلغني حَيْثُ كُنْتُم» . رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيّ
On his authority, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Do not make your homes graves, and do not make my grave a place of rest, and pray for me, for Your prayers will reach me wherever you are.” Narrated by Al-Nasa’i
