Hadith #48243
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: (The prostration of (PBUH) is not one of the commands of prostration, and I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prostrating in it. And in a narration: Mujahid said: I said to Ibn Abbas: Should I prostrate in (PBUH)? So he recited: (And from his descendants are David and Solomon) until he came (and guided them, he followed him) and said: Your Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. May God bless him and grant him peace, among those whom he was commanded to follow. Narrated by Al-Bukhari
