Hadith #48452
On the authority of Ibn Umar, that his father, Umar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, used to pray throughout the night as long as God wished, until, when it was late in the night, he woke up He invites his family to prayer. He says to them: Prayer, then he recites this verse: (And enjoin your family to pray, and be patient in it. We do not ask of you for sustenance.) We will provide for you, and the outcome will be piety.” Narrated by Malik
