وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ: أَصْبَحَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَعَا بِلَالًا فَقَالَ: «بِمَ سَبَقْتَنِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ مَا دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ قَطُّ إِلَّا سَمِعْتُ خَشْخَشَتَكَ أَمَامِي» . قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَذَّنْتُ قَطُّ إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَا أَصَابَنِي حَدَثٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا تَوَضَّأْتُ عِنْدَهُ وَرَأَيْتُ أَنَّ لِلَّهِ عَلَيَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «بِهِمَا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Buraidah, he said: In the morning the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called Bilal and said: “Because you preceded me into Paradise, I have never entered Paradise except “I heard your rattle in front of me.” He said: O Messenger of God, I have never called the call to prayer without praying two rak’ahs, and no event has ever befallen me without I performed ablution with him and saw that he had prayed two rak'ahs for me. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “By them.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
