Hadith #48572
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا: سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى أَعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِهِ: «لِيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمُ الْجُمُعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيَكُونُنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah that they said: We heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying on the pillars of his pulpit: “Let them stop.” Some people will abandon the Friday prayers, or God will seal their hearts and then they will be among the heedless.” Narrated by Muslim
