Hadith #48668
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا عَمِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ إِهْرَاقِ الدَّمِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيُؤْتَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِقُرُونِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا وَأَظْلَافِهَا وَإِنَّ الدَّمَ لَيَقَعُ مِنَ الله بمَكَان قبل أَن يَقع بِالْأَرْضِ فيطيبوا بهَا نفسا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is no deed that the son of Adam did on the Day of Sacrifice that is more beloved to God than the shedding of blood.” On the Day of Resurrection, they will be brought with their horns, hairs, and hooves, and the blood will fall from God in a place before it falls on the earth. And they will make their souls happy with it.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah
