وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: دَخَلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُمِّ السَّائِبِ فَقَالَ: «مَالك تُزَفْزِفِينَ؟» . قَالَتِ: الْحُمَّى لَا بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ: «لَا تَسُبِّي الْحُمَّى فَإِنَّهَا تُذْهِبُ خَطَايَا بَنِي آدَمَ كَمَا يُذْهِبُ الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Jabir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, entered Umm al-Sa’ib and said: “Why are you getting married?” . She said: Fever, may God bless it. He said: “Do not curse fever, for it removes the sins of the children of Adam just as kiln removes the impurities from iron.” Narrated by Muslim
