Hadith #48938
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, died, and the women cried, so Omar started hitting them with his whip, but he delayed it. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, raised his hand and said: “Wait, O Omar.” Then he said: “Beware of the crowing of Satan.” Then he said: “No matter what.” “Whatever comes from the eye and from the heart is from God Almighty and from mercy, and whatever is from the hand and the tongue is from Satan.” Narrated by Ahmed
