Hadith #48949
On the authority of Al-Hussein bin Ali, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “There is no Muslim man, male or female, who is afflicted with a calamity and remembers it, even if it lasts for a long time.” Then it will be restored, unless God, Blessed and Most High, renews it for him at that time, and gives him the equivalent of its reward on the day it was afflicted with it.” Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman
