Hadith #48959
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُزَهِّدُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وتذكر الْآخِرَة» . رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I forbade you from visiting graves, so visit them, for they renounce the worldly life.” And remember the Hereafter. Narrated by Ibn Majah
