وَعَن أبي هُرَيْرَة قَالَ: كَانَ يعرض على النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّ عَامٍ مَرَّةً فَعَرَضَ عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ فِي الْعَامِ الَّذِي قُبِضَ وَكَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ كُلَّ عَامٍ عَشْرًا فَاعْتَكَفَ عِشْرِينَ فِي الْعَامِ الَّذِي قُبِضَ. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: He used to show the Qur’an to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, once every year. It was shown to him twice in the year that he died, and he used to seclude himself every year. For ten days, he secluded himself for twenty days in the year that occurred. Narrated by Al-Bukhari
