Hadith #50303
وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ الْجُمَحِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" فَصَلَ مَا بَيْنَ الْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ: الصَّوْتُ وَالدُّفُّ فِي النِّكَاحِ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Muhammad bin Hatib Al-Jumahi, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said:
“Separating what is permissible from what is forbidden: the sound and the tambourine during marriage.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa’i, and Ibn Majah.
