Hadith #50353
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَعْطَى فِي صَدَاقِ امْرَأَتِهِ مِلْءَ كَفَّيْهِ سَوِيقًا أَوْ تَمْرًا فَقَدِ اسْتحلَّ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Jabir, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever gives a whole handful of whole grains or dates in his wife’s dowry as a dowry” has declared it permissible. Narrated by Abu Dawood
