وَعَنِ الْمُغِيرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ: لَوْ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا مَعَ امْرَأَتِي لَضَرَبْتُهُ بِالسَّيْفِ غَيْرَ مُصْفِحٍ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ غَيْرَةِ سَعْدٍ؟ وَاللَّهِ لَأَنَا أَغْيَرُ مِنْهُ وَاللَّهُ أَغْيَرُ مِنِّي وَمِنْ أَجْلِ غَيْرَةِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلَا أَحَدَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ الْعُذْرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ بَعَثَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ وَالْمُبَشِّرِينَ وَلَا أَحَدَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ الْمِدْحَةُ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ»
On the authority of Al-Mughirah, he said: Saad bin Ubadah said: If I saw a man with my wife, I would strike him with a sword without armor. That was reported to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. He said: “Are you amazed at Saad’s jealousy? By God, because I am more jealous than him, and by God, I am more jealous than me, and because of his jealousy. God has forbidden immoral acts, whether apparent or hidden, and no one is more beloved to an excuse than God. For that reason He sent the warners and the bringers of good tidings. There is no one to whom praise is more beloved than God, and for that reason God promised Paradise.”
