Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #50503
Hadith #50503
On the authority of Abu Saeed, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If one of you strikes his servant and remembers God, raise your hands.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman, but for him, “let him hold back” instead of “raise your hands.”
