On the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Amra al-Ansari: His mother wanted to be emancipated, so she delayed it until the morning, then she died. Abd said The Most Gracious: So I said to Al-Qasim bin Muhammad: Would it benefit her if I were freed from her? Al-Qasim said: Saad bin Ubadah came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: “My mother has died. Will it benefit her if I emancipate her?” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Yes.” Narrated by Malik.
