Hadith #50648
On the authority of Sahl bin Saad: A man looked into a hole at the gate of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and with the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, a person scratching his head. He shook his head and said: “If I had known that you were looking at me, I would have stabbed you in the eye with it. Permission was only made for the sake of sight.”
