Hadith #51151
وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نَمَرُّ بِقَوْمٍ فَلَا هُمْ يُضَيِّفُونَا وَلَا هُمْ يُؤَدُّونَ مَا لنا عَلَيْهِم منَ الحقِّ وَلَا نَحْنُ نَأْخُذُ مِنْهُمْ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنْ أَبَوْا إِلَّا أنْ تأخُذوا كُرهاً فَخُذُوا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: I said: O Messenger of God, we are passing by a people, but they are not hosting us, nor are they fulfilling our rights over them, nor are we. We take from them. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If they refuse, unless you take it by force, then take it.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
