Hadith #51167
وَعَن عمر قَالَ: كَانَتْ أَمْوَالُ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِمَّا لَمْ يُوجِفِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَيْهِ بِخَيْلٍ وَلَا رِكَابٍ فَكَانَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالِصَة يُنْفِقُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ نَفَقَةَ سَنَتِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُ مَا بَقِيَ فِي السِّلَاحِ وَالْكُرَاعِ عُدَّةً فِي سَبِيل الله
On the authority of Omar, he said: The wealth of Banu al-Nadir was from what God had bestowed upon His Messenger, for which the Muslims had not paid horses or riders, so it belonged to the Messenger of God. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sincerely, he spends on his family according to their Sunnah, then he puts what remains into weapons and armor. A number for the sake of God
