وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْخُذُ مِنْ لِحْيَتِهِ مِنْ عَرْضِهَا وَطُولِهَا. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to trim his beard, depending on its width and length. Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: This is a strange hadith.
