Hadith #51547
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ فَإِنَّهُ نُورُ الْمُسْلِمِ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً وَكَفَّرَ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً وَرَفَعَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do not pluck gray hair, for it is the light of the Muslim.” “Whoever has gray hair in Islam, God will record for him a good deed because of it, and atone for him a sin because of it, and raise him in rank because of it.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
