Hadith #51790
وَعَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الرَّايَاتِ السُّودَ قَدْ جَاءَتْ مِنْ قِبَلِ خُرَاسَانَ فَأْتُوهَا فَإِنَّ فِيهَا خَلِيفَةَ اللَّهِ الْمَهْدِيَّ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «دَلَائِل النبوَّة»
On the authority of Thawban, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If you see the black banners coming from the direction of Khurasan, go to them, for they are there.” The Caliph of God, the Mahdi. Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Bayhaqi in “Evidence of Prophethood”
