Hadith #52038
وَعَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" كَانَتِ امْرَأَتَانِ مَعَهُمَا ابْنَاهُمَا جَاءَ الذِّئْبُ فَذَهَبَ بِابْنِ إِحْدَاهُمَا فَقَالَتْ صَاحِبَتُهَا: إِنَّمَا ذَهَبَ بابنك. وَقَالَت الْأُخْرَى: إِنَّمَا ذهب بابنك فتحاكما إِلَى دَاوُدَ فَقَضَى بِهِ لِلْكُبْرَى فَخَرَجَتَا عَلَى سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ فَأَخْبَرَتَاهُ فَقَالَ: ائْتُونِي بِالسِّكِّينِ أَشُقُّهُ بَيْنَكُمَا. فَقَالَتِ الصُّغْرَى: لَا تَفْعَلُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ هُوَ ابْنُهَا فَقَضَى بِهِ لِلصُّغْرَى " مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
And on his authority, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “There were two women with their sons, and the wolf came and took away the son of one of them, and she said Her companion: He took your son, and the other said: He took your son, so they were judged to David, and he ruled over him to the eldest, so they went out to Suleiman bin David. So you told him, and he said: Bring me a knife and I will cut it between you. Then the younger one said: Do not do it, may God have mercy on you. It is her son. So he decided for him for the younger one. Agreed upon.
