Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith #52419

On the authority of Sarra’ bint Nabhan, may God be pleased with her, she said: “The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, addressed us on the Day of the Heads (of the Sacrifice) and said: ‘Is this not the middle of the days of Tashreeq?’” This hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud with a good chain of transmission. 1.1 - Weak. It was narrated by Abu Dawud (1953), and in its chain of transmission is Rabi’ah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, about whom al-Hafiz himself said, “Acceptable.” I say: That is, where he is corroborated, otherwise the hadith is weak, as he stated in the introduction to “al-Taqrib.”
