Hadith #52445
وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { اِسْتَفْتَى سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ - رضى الله عنه - رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فِي نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ, تُوُفِّيَتْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ ? فَقَالَ:
"اِقْضِهِ عَنْهَا" } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .1 - . صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 2761 )، ومسلم ( 1638 ).
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said: “Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah, may God be pleased with him, asked the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, about a vow that his mother had made, but she died before fulfilling it. He said: ‘Fulfill it on her behalf.’” Agreed upon. 1.1. Authentic. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (2761) and Muslim (1638).
