Hadith #52444
On the authority of Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: “My sister vowed to walk to the House of Allah (the Kaaba) barefoot. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘Let her walk and let her ride.’” (Agreed upon, and the wording is from Muslim.) 1.1 - Authentic. Narrated by al-Bukhari (1866) and Muslim (1644), and it is the same wording as al-Bukhari except for the phrase “barefoot.” They both include Uqbah’s statement: “She instructed me to seek a ruling from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on her behalf, so I sought a ruling from him.”

Uqba bin Aamir (RA)
