Hadith #52737
وَعَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: { كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-لَا يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ اَلْفِطْرِ حَتَّى يَطْعَمَ, وَلَا يَطْعَمُ يَوْمَ اَلْأَضْحَى حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ رواه أحمد (5/352)‏، والترمذي (542)‏، وابن حبان (2812)‏ واللفظ للترمذي، وقوله عقبه: "حديث غريب" هو قول غريب.‏ وقال الحاكم في "المستدرك" (1/294)‏: "هذه سنة عزيزة من طريق الرواية، مستفيضة في بلاد المسلمين".‏
There is an Idraj in its last part. So the narration is weak whether Marfu' [reaching back to the Prophet (ﷺ)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion). And it's meaning is to put (one's) hands on his waist. This Hadith is more authentic than the Hadith narrated by Wa'il bin Hujr (RA).
